Return, Refund, and Privacy Policies

RETURN POLICY

Same Day Delivery items may be rejected by purchaser, for any reason, while delivery person is still present, but purchaser will incur delivery cost to purchaser’s delivery address but not back to shipper.

Same Day Delivery items, if not rejected by purchaser while delivery person is still present, may still be returned within 15 days, if unused, but purchaser will be charged for delivery back to shipper. Returns must be arranged in advance by calling Baggage Claimers at 619 297-3144. We will then have our delivery company handle the return.

Purchases other than Same Day Delivery may be returned in 15 days, if unused, and if we are notified in advance by calling 619 297-3144 to arrange return through our office and our shipping company. Purchaser will be charged for the return shipping only. In the unlikely event that purchaser insists on a return shipping company other than Baggage Claimer‘s selected company, purchaser has the option of paying for and arranging his own return shipping by notifying Baggage Claimers, and if shipping company is a well known and respected company.

CREDIT CARD REFUNDS

Credit card refunds are processed within 48 hours by Baggage Claimers minus shipping or delivery costs as defined above. When purchaser’s credit card is then credited is a function of purchaser’s credit card company. For questions please call 619 297-3144.

CASH OR CHECK REFUNDS

Cash or check refunds will be processed within 48 hours by Baggage Claimers with the issuance of a Baggage Claimers company check or epay check. Purchaser’s checks must have first cleared before any refund can be given. Checks will be sent via US Mail to the purchaser and delivery address on the original order only. PRIVACY POLICY

The Baggage Claimers Privacy Statement The Baggage Claimers is highly sensitive to the privacy interests of consumers and believes that the protection of those interests is one of its most significant responsibilities. In acknowledgment of its obligations, The Baggage Claimers has adopted the following Privacy Policy applicable to information about consumers that it acquires in the course of its business:
1. Acquisition of Information. We do not acquire any more information about consumers than is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely.
2. Our Employees and Privacy. We train all of our employees about the importance of privacy. We give access to information about consumers only to those employees who require it to perform their jobs.
3. Security Measures. We make access to privacy-sensitive information subject to rigorous procedural and technological controls, consistent with legal requirements and the demands of customer service.
4. Disclosure to Third Parties. We will provide individually-identifiable information about consumers to third parties only if we are compelled to do so by order of a duly-empowered governmental authority, we have the express permission of the consumer, or it is necessary to process transactions and provide our services.
5. Privacy and Our Business Partners. When we make our technology or services available to business partners, we will not share with them any more consumer information than is necessary, and we will make every reasonable effort to assure, by contract or otherwise, that they use our technology and services in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.
